FixDinner ("we", "our", "app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data We Collect

• Email address (for account creation and login)
• Authentication data from Google Sign-In (email, display name, profile photo if provided)
• Authentication data from Apple Sign-In (email, name if provided)
• Ingredients you enter (to generate dinner suggestions)
• Preferences you select (cuisine preferences, cooking method, etc.)
• Saved dinners (stored to your account)

We support email/password (stored in Supabase), Google Sign-In (via Firebase; email passed to Supabase), and Apple Sign-In (via Apple; email passed to Supabase). Firebase and Apple receive user data during sign-in; your account data is stored in Supabase.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide personalized dinner suggestions
• To save your preferences and favorites
• To manage your subscription
• To improve our service

3. AI Processing

Your ingredients and preferences are sent to Claude (Anthropic's AI) to generate dinner suggestions. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored by the AI provider beyond the request.

4. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase (database and data storage)
• Firebase (Google Sign-In authentication)
• Apple (Apple Sign-In authentication, subscription management)
• Anthropic Claude (AI dinner suggestion generation)

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Delete Account.

7. Children's Privacy

FixDinner is designed to be family-friendly but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Delete your account and data
• Export your saved dinners (coming soon)

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes.
